Easter: Climbing the Walls

This year, for Henry's 3rd Easter, he discovered it's true meaning...CANDY. After awaking to find the basket that the Easter bunny had left on the rocking chair, he was pretty much dosed up on sugar all day. Which made for a lively time at church with my parents, mother-in-law, husband, and nana (we took shifts running him around in mom's preschool downstairs) and then for a lovely Easter brunch at my cousin Meg's. Due to the schedule of the day, he also did not have a nap - that with the combination of the fact that he is TWO made for a very tiring day for all adults involved!

That evening while trying to wrangle him through our nighttime routine, we were also talking with his cousin Ariana on the phone. I explained to her that Henry was "climbing the walls" - which Henry quickly repeated in a very loud toddler voice, "CLIMBING THE WALLS!'

That pretty much sums it up.
