Lots have happened and many miles have been traveled since the last post..we had a great time visiting the Wall family in Baton Rouge. Saturday night we spent at the family party (see big family pic). Henry enjoyed running up and down the hall to burn off the serious sugar buzz he received from all the yummies.
Sunday morning we drove to Nashville and spent the evening at my cousin Heather's house - visiting with my Aunt Sue, Uncle Dwight, Heather's husband (Chris Burchette), and their son, Clark. We had a good time watching the boys play and catching up with each other after the little ones were asleep.
Which brings us to Christmas Eve...that was spent driving home. Henry continued to be an excellent traveler (WE ARE SO BLESSED!). We made it home safe and sound ... to find a large stack of mail...including many Christmas cards and.... a letter stating "I PASSED THE BOARDS!" Merry Christmas to Dr. Laura W. Hutchison!!! (soon to be a fully licensed psychologist!)
Henry awoke (at home, finally) Christmas morning to be upset that Santa had eaten "his" cookies (I guess this tradition was somewhat lost on a 21 month old!). He was very excited, however, about the large "Land, Air, & Sea" Table that Santa left for him. The majority of the day was spent at my parents (see smaller family pic)- watching Henry open and play with his presents. The biggest hits were the Extreme Tickle Me Elmo and Cookie Monster and the GARAGE ornament the Meg and Josh found for Henry!
